Creativity in Art and Nature / Green Housing Project

The next big project of WICCAN will be finding an appropriate area in the countryside hopefully near the sea in the South of Crete and building ourselves a green home and a garden and maybe a guests' house where we can stay and create when participating in WICCAN activities.

The garden can be a poetry and art one, the residing artists in the future green structure could leave a sculpture on site forever guarding the place and speaking of past delight of creativity and sharing.

I am inviting everybody interested in this project who either has green housing experience or wants to acquire it to come forward and contact us.

The project is at the very early stages, land seeking and negotiating stage.
It will be a fantastic opportunity for artists to be a part of this joint nature and art creation.

More to follow, women are particularly welcome to apply.

MUGGIA EXHIBITION DATES / FINAL

The dates have finally been decided by the Townhall of Muggia.
The Exhibition "OPEN BOARDERS" will open on the 16th of August and it will stay open for 3 weeks, closing on the 9th of September.
We shall have the keys two days before the opening and one day after closing to set
the exhibition up and to take it down.

It is a great opportunity to be given these dates as summer visitors will be in this
beautiful sea town so our potential public is bigger and more diversified.

It will be possible for exhibiting artists to combine assisting to the opening 
with summer holidays as there are plenty of "B&B" with one side on the main square
and another on the beach!
I shall certainly do that...

Hello Dear Artists and people interested in WICCAN acctivities,

Last night I finally got the good news from Giuliana Balbi in Muggia: our exhibition project "OPEN BOARDERS" has been accepted and the town is giving us the venue we asked for for free!

Discussions are still going on concerning all details, the opening date we are discussing is September 2012.
The Exhibition will be open for three weeks.

Participating Artists will be able to present a maximum of 4 works each (to be confirmed) and at least 3 (already confirmed).
